" Cellulite ", which is an improper term used to define an accumulation of fat called steatomery, has been treated in different ways since a long time, with varying good results. A foremost method exists which permits, without any injection, or surgical distress, an effective and long lasting reduction of unsightly cellulite This process is called ‚ electrolipopuncture é (ELP)
What is " electrolipopuncture " ?
The technique consits of the insertion of thin needles, given to the patient and sterilised after each sessions, into the hypodermic cellulitic tissue. These needles have a length of 10 cm, a diameter of 3/10 mm and are spaced every 7 cm ; they receive an unidirectional low frequency (20 hertz) electric current. Each session lasts an hour and results in a slow and progressive disolving of the fatty tissue.
What reaction does the ELP have on the human body ?
The ELP works by :
- ionic effect : the electric current causes a reversed ionic transit (the release of natrium, taking water with it, is evacuated through the permeable walls of the capillaries)
- electromecanical effect : by stimulation of the lymphatic and arteriolo-venous circulation systems
- thermic effect : enhancement of the intercellular exchange
- metabolic effect : the cells containing the fat (adipocyte cell) work again and therefore the fatty tissue dissolves
The special current of ELP permits the figure to undergo a spectacular slendering process by :
- reducing the accumulation of fatty tissues on the thighs and abdominal wall
- slimming down the hips and the waist
- improving the circulation on the lower limbs
- toning up the muscles
- firming up the skin
- eliminating the orange-peel skin
" Electrolipopuncture " (ELP), practiced by VITAMED since some ten years, is a reliable technique with lasting results. Several maintenance sessions a year are necessary. The patient will experience a noticeable loss of body inches, a real improvement of skin quality, and a new psycho-physiological balance.
